Mission ~ Established in 1999, the Wharton African Students Association (WASA) is an all-inclusive organization that strives to raise the profile and awareness of Africa as a viable business and leisure destination within and beyond the Wharton community. WASA welcomes membership from all Wharton MBA students with an interest in Africa.

WASA is dedicated to:

• Increasing the awareness of African issues at Wharton
• Providing career and leadership opportunities to its members
• Promoting business in Africa
• Strengthening ties between students, alumni, and African businesspeople.

2004/5 Officers ~ Wasa is led by a highly dedicated group of individuals who strive to ensure that the association is well managed and efficiently run.
